Serves 2
- 140g dried basmati rice
- 2 bavette steaks, visible fat removed
- 1 cal cooking spray*
- 1 tbsp soy sauce/tamari
- 2 onions, peeled, each cut into 8 wedges
- 1 red pepper, deseeded and sliced into thick strips
- 4 spring onions, two-thirds chopped into roughly 2cm pieces, the rest thinly sliced
- 180g long-stem broccoli, trimmed and cut into thirds
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 4cm piece fresh root ginger, peeled and finely grated
- ¼ tsp chilli flakes
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
