Like most people, I had tried SW before, I guess the timing was wasn’t right. When my dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer and the end was coming, my adult children went to say goodbye. My son told me dad was worried about me as I was ‘fat’. My last gift I could give my dad was to lose weight. Two days later I took those terrifying steps to group. Six weeks later, he passed away, but I was able to tell him I’d lost 1st 3lb & wasn’t going to stop until I got to target. Two weeks prior to the 2nd anniversary of his death, I’d lost 6 stone. During the last months of my journey I was asked to consider being a Consultant. I’ve never looked back. Not only did it save my life, it gave me a life. I’ve been there, ups, downs, I know how it feels!
