We’ve given the viral dot cake recipe a Slimming World twist, and the results are too good not to share. With fluffy sponge, creamy vanilla quark topping and colourful sprinkles, these cake-cups couldn’t get any cuter. Treat yourself to a taste of childhood with these pots of pure joy!

Slimming World dot cakes recipe
makes 8 cakes
4½ Swips per dot cake
ready in 40 mins
What you need:
1 cal cooking spray
4 eggs, separated
4 level tbsp sweetener
1 tsp vanilla extract
150g self-raising flour
1 level tsp baking powder
For the topping:
200g plain quark
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 level tsp sprinkles of sprinkles per cake
What you do:
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C/fan 160°C/gas 4. Spray 8 ramekins with 1 cal cooking spray.
2. Put the egg yolks, sweetener and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Using an electric whisk, beat for 5 minutes until pale and slightly thickened.
3. In a clean bowl, whisk the egg whites until soft peaks form. Gently fold into the egg yolk mixture. Sift the flour and baking powder into the bowl and gently fold into the eggs.
4. Spoon the mixture into the ramekins and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and firm. Leave to cool while you make the topping.
5. Put the quark and vanilla extract into a bowl and stir well. Once the cakes are cool, divide the topping evenly between them and finish with plenty of sprinkles!
