Garlic, rosemary and thyme paste

Dial up the flavours in this classic pie by using our garlic, rosemary and thyme paste. Simply use the paste in place of garlic, and dried mixed herbs sauce during step two of the recipe and keep the cooking time the same.

Red Thai curry paste

This paste is full of deep, aromatic flavours – perfect for adding a kick of spice to curries, stir-fries and traybakes.

Use it in… Thai beef stir-fry

You’ll save ½ Swip per serving using our Free red Thai curry paste instead of a supermarket version in this fiery, fragrant stir-fry.

Free (if using Slimming World Kitchen’s red Thai curry paste, otherwise count ½ Swip per serving)

What you need:

330g dried basmati or long-grain rice
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp turmeric
low calorie cooking spray
1 larger red onion, sliced
2 level tbsp Slimming World Kitchen’s red Thai curry paste
2 large sirloin steaks, visible fat removed, thinly sliced
200g bag sliced kale
225g can bamboo shoots, drained
200ml beef stock

What you do:

1. Cook the rice according to the pack instructions with the ground cinnamon, turmeric and a punch of salt, then drain.

2. Meanwhile, spray a large non-stick wok or frying pan with low-calorie cooking spray and place over a medium heat. Cook the onion until softened. Add the Thai red curry paste and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant. Add the beef, stir until coated in the paste, then cook for 1-2 minutes, or until cooked through.

3. Stir in the kale and bamboo shoots, then add the stock. Season, bring to the boil and cook for 2 minutes. Divide the stir-fry between 4 bowls and serve with the rice.
