Are you looking for an easy activity to keep the kids busy in the school holidays or on a wet weekend? Give our take on chocolate apples a go \u2013 they\u2019re quick, super-simple and, at just 3 Swips a pop, you get a slimming-friendly choc fix, too.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ready in 15 minutes plus time to set\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What you need: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

40g milk or dark chocolate\u00a0
1 eating apple, peeled and sliced into 4 thick slices (avoiding the centre core)\u00a0
1tsp 100s and 1,000s\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What you do: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Melt the chocolate in a glass bowl over a pan of simmering water, making sure the bowl doesn\u2019t touch the water, then set aside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Insert lollipop sticks into the apple slices, then dip the apple lollies into the melted chocolate. Evenly sprinkle over the 100s and 1,000s, then leave to set. These will keep for 3 days in an airtight container in the fridge.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
