Mum of three Tina Bazeley started building in Body Magic almost immediately – helping her achieve a fantastic 3st 2lbs weight loss and discover a new passion for running.
My first run was a bit spur-of-the-moment. I was walking home from group and thought ‘I could run this’. So I did. I was left gasping for breath – but there was something exhilarating about it. From there I started running regularly – I built up gradually, mixing running and walking and after about six weeks I managed a three mile circuit without stopping!
Since scoring a 6 1/2st weight loss Paul Glass is fit for anything.
As a youngster, I had the potential to play premiership football, but life took me in a different direction and over the years I stopped exercising altogether. Joining Slimming World changed all that. After a few weeks – and a good few pounds lost – I joined a health club, started tennis, swimming and weights – and found a local football side to train with. Now I play the beautiful game rather than just watching it on the TV.
